For many years, it has been influenced by China and India that built the first towns on this territory and in the 16th century, the Europeans have colonized this territory which was under the rule of the Portuguese, the Dutch, and the British. The first evidence of human habitation in Malaysia dates back to 40,000 ago. This fact has greatly influenced the history of gambling in the country since this activity is strictly prohibited by the Sharia law. The population of the country is very diverse, but over 60% of them are Muslim. The total area of the country is over 330 thousand square kilometres and more than 30 million people live there.
